Not all elite players are drafted high in the lottery. This draft in particular doesn't seem to be that great after Wemby and even he could have potential health issues being so big.

Maybe not a Giannis or Kawhi but we are in that range that could get a guy like Bam (14th), Herro (13th), Mitchell (13th), Booker (13th), Haliburton (12th), etc

Yes of course. I'm referring to the obvious high potential guys like the Thompson twins for example that have a skill or talent that gives them a clear advantage over other guys. Something from day one that raises their potential.

In late first round you have to make a choice between athletic but not skilled prospect OR skilled but not athletic/great measurements prospect.

Check out Jalen Hood-Schifino. 6'6" pg for the Hoosiers. He's currently projected a little later in the first round than we are slotted but I think he's a climber.

We need a wing that can shoot anywhere, can handle the ball, can create his own shot. Imo Jordan Hawkins is the perfect player for this team. Although I'm not sure if he's going to be there in the 10-14 range anymore. If he performs well in the NCAA tournament, his stock will go through the roof.

lol. How about 6'10 - 6'11" who can't shoot? It's going to be Leonard Miller. You know it. I know it. Bobby & Masai won't be able to help themselves. Toronto kid is the cherry on top. That said, Miller is actually putting up nice stats in the G-League vs. pros. Dyson Daniels couldn't shoot 3s in the G-League either and a lot of people (including you) were drooling about getting him in a trade.

Yeah, would be awesome to watch him suck for a year or two before he's out of the league. Like all of our 2nd round picks (Koloko being the one exception but he was taken at pick 33).
