Chicago and OKC both have to win against Miami and Minnesota respectively to get the 11th pick.

Here are the four remaining scenarios.

    Chicago wins, OKC wins:

    11 - Toronto
    12 - New Orleans/Minnesota
    13 - Minnesota/New Orleans
    14 - Miami
    15 - OKC/Chicago
    16 - Chicago/OKC
    17 - Atlanta

    Chicago wins, OKC loses:

    11 - OKC
    12 - Toronto
    13 - New Orleans
    14 - Miami
    15 - Chicago
    16 - Atlanta
    17 - Minnesota

I am not 100% sure if the 8th seed in the playoffs will get a better draft pick than the 7th seed (Atlanta vs Miami). I think they will still use regular season standings to determine that over playoff seeding. But that won't affect the Raptors either way.
Yeah all draft picks are ordered by regular season standings and coin toss tie breaks, the only thing the play in changes is slotting teams into a) lottery picks or b) non-lottery picks, with all the lotto picks slotting in 1-14 and all the non-lotto slotting from 15-30.

    And yeah, simplest breakdown is:

Raps get 11 if both Bulls and OKC make the playoffs.
Raps get 12 if one of them does.
Raps get 13 if neither does.

Klay Thompson was drafted 11th overall. Mitchell and Booker 13th overall. Giannis and Kawhi 15th overall. You get my point.

This is a strong draft class. Trading this year's 1st would be e beyond stupid but nothing would surprise me about this management.
I don't know if this is a particularly strong draft class, but yeah trading a lottery pick is probably not something a middle of the pack type of team should be doing. Always a couple of surprises in the lottery.

      • There do seem to be a lot of wings that can shoot in this draft class.

currently 1% chance at the first overall pick. I like those odds.

OKC is fun to root for too. I love seeing Shai become a superstar.

I really don't like the Heat, never have, so easy to root for the Bulls in that one.

Masai probably is super pissed right now that his gamble didn't pay off.
And the team better perform next year coz his 1st was gone too.

                What a mess.

Look at it like he used next year's FRP to draft Jak...again. So he got a starting C which we can't play 4th quarters out of it which is still a win considering the options we had prior to the trade.

We can and absolutely should play Jak in the 4th. The FT's thing is way overblown. He attempted 2.8 FT per game and made 1.6 of them. So at worst he's costing us 2 whole points. Whoopdie doo.

This team needs a big body center that can battle the shit out in the paint.
OG is strong but not big enough.

Yeah, that's why we need to resign Jak (I think that's a foregone conclusion anyways).

I like Jak. But fts when it counts in the playoffs hes liable to shoot worse. Its a lot of pressure even for our star player like yesterday. And as i mentioned before his inability to shoot the three makes it even more imperative that the already struggling shooting starters do so. Jak is a very good regular season C

                              We might need another one.
Jak is good and celebral, but not a bruiser.
Embiid is just pushing him around.
Gasol had all of those things, big, strong and smart.

In his most recent playoffs Jak shot 1.3 FTA per game, and hit 0.7 of them, so he missed a whopping 0.6 FT per game. If hack a Jak was an effective strategy he would have a shit ton more FT attempts.
