Are we really gonna get shafted by the Spurs again? Must be a deal with the devil that we still owe them for Kawhi.

if we trade picks in a win-now move for this group i'm not gonna be happy

Looks like we’re doubling down on this core. Nurse is gonna get the depth he needs to make a run at the play-in. Or maybe even the 6th seed…. dream big!

          • Sounds like the “master plan” is to trade Gary for Jakob and backfill Gary with an Eric Gordon or Bones type 6th man.

Unless they are blown away with an offer (which ain’t happening), it feels like they’re going to be buyers and support this core.

            • This is the perfect deadline to be a seller and it better supports the long term vision. If we flip the script in going to be the most disappointed in the future then i have in a long time.
Trying to get Eric Gordon seems like a collangelo type move.

Basically a repeat of getting Thad last year. Yikes.

Problem is Masai’s public mantra is all about winning, winning, winning. I’m sure Nurse brings that up when he tells Masai what he needs to win now.

But since we can’t develop players anymore, who needs picks anyway.

                • Masai is so close to getting a guy like Wembanyama and he might blow it. In fairness this team could fail to get him anyways (it is a lotto). Plus our schedule is super soft. And maybe the guys after him are not guys that they are willing to tank for.

But based on all the rumours (and they are just that).. feels like he wants to keep moving forward not backwards.

I'm still riding the Masai bandwagon and am not getting off anytime soon. So I hope whatever he's planning works out.

                    • PG shuffle out west.

                      • It's always tough this time of year, as we don't really know what's being offered.

If what we read is true: OG wants out, there is interest with Fred and Trent and all the rumours are true, I'm making three trades.

Fred and filer for Suggs and Carter (or Bamba)

Trent to GS for moody and Kuminga

OG is going to the Pels for Daniels, Murphy III, Graham and multiple picks one of which would be the lakers.

But we have absolutely no idea which if any of the deals have even be discussed.

But that would be a pretty decent young core paired with Pascal.

Russell would fit much better with Lebron than Westbrook. Conley gets to go to a decent spot. Utah gets a pick. Everyone wins.

Very curious how that is received by the fan base (if indeed it does happen). I suppose results will determine that!

Man, I hope teams don't get tired of waiting on the Raps and move on....or maybe Raps never had any intention of doing anything? I don't think I've been this stressed over a trade deadline.
