Given that the Nets are now going to be in a free fall, its not out of realm of possibilities that the Raptors might intent to capture that 6th spot. The only question is will there be another big deal by 3pm tomorrow?! we now have 3 big free agents looking for a raise in the summer.

This is bush league stuff.
Now we will wait, maybe this is not Masai’s grand plan YET
At least he didn’t stand pat….he has a topic to discuss during the post deadline presser aside from his GOA initiatives

Holding my horses to overreact….I am sure the morning early birds (glass half full peeps) have a counter to this madness. Hahaha.

Pending who else is being traded here I bet lots of uncomfortable questions are going to be asked how come the Raptors couldn't have land KD.

I'll wait for tomorrow to pass judgement

OG/GTJ/Boucher with the picks seems like a better offer.
We could’ve still done the Poeltl trade. We’d have only about 9M to play with under the hard cap (since we used the MLE on Otto) but we’d have multiple avenues of using that whether by trade (just so happens we have a 5.25m trade exception) or signing free agents (we’d have opened up 2 roster spots)
FVV / Scottie / KD / Siakam / Poeltl
Flynn / Warren / Hernangomez / Young / Precious
Banton / Koloko
Otto (out for season)
That was easily attainable, and if we used only 1.6m on a minimum deal for a 14th player we’d actually avoid the tax for this season even.

Shooters & spacing are what's best for him. Barnes was doing well playing the 4 recently.
Jakob barley moves the needle on what this team is.
Scottie’s development is going to be just fine either way, as long as he isn’t stuck with a losing team for any duration.
