Even Pascal looks disinterested at times when VanVleet switches to hero mode….

another observation is this ... I think pascal goes into hero ball mode AFTER FVV does currently he gets frustrated and does his best to put us back into games but as good as he is... its hard in today's NBA to do that game in game out

It’s basically when Nurse was trying to teach the team the new style where anybody could grab & go and he had to break the PGs habits of stopping and waiting to get the ball. They went through the same “re-programming” thing with Malachi where he had to learn how to fill the lanes like a wing.

Some/most of that is the ‘my turn, your turn offence’ where if you pass it you never see it again.

Interesting that the two guys most adamant about us getting a freaking center aren't on board with trading for Poeltl, a very good center.

And if we’re going to get a limited run & jump type of center, we should be looking at a more athletic and cheaper guy like a Daniel Gafford, if he’s available.
