Everyone basically wants Fred moved (me too by the way). I just don't like slander when it's made up. If OG leaves and we hear its because of Fred sometime int he future then I'll join in on the conversation. To assume that's the reason is crap though.

Let's just stay with I believe the team needs a major shakeup and it's time to move on from Pascal/Fred. I've been conisstent on that.

So I vote to move Fred.
He'd give a (potentially) greater return than the easy more obvious (and likely) moving of GTJr. or even lesser moves.
And I think we've seen Fred's ceiling and perhaps not Trents.
I think Fred is breaking down and will be comparatively poor value in a new contract.
Moving Trent and re-signng Fred would give us more of the same with less offense.
Moving Fred and moving forward with the young player and 1st that he might return, Pascal, Barnes, OG, re-signed Trent, Achiuwa and Koloko sounds like a touch more upside.

Nothing to do with Fred and OG, Fred and Barnes is necessary but I just happen to think there's something there based on what I posted.

I've just said that I'd prefer Fred was moved (for the better potential return) or including GTJr, not just Trent as it's not enough.

which quotes? i've only seen the passage from nurse's book (which i agree with golden is a nothing burger) and the one from fred about scottie being one of his more challenging projects, which the mob has taken to be condescending but it's hard to read it that way if you watch the quote in context (see 2:40 mark of video here)

body language is just your perception. in my perception i've seen no bad body language directed between fred and his teammates. we can see what we wanna see.

all the rumours i've seen were basically started on this board or by that pensare knob on youtube

gut feel is worthless as evidence of any rift.

the way they play with and without fred is just more of one's perception. the ugliest game i've watched this season was the celtics game last week, in which fred didn't play and in which the team completely froze scottie out.

I think your interpretation is as accurate as someone who thinks the opposite and for someone taking the moral ground to win an argument didn’t realize they already lost the debate.

No one is gossiping here or slandering VanVleet…so I agree we like to see what we want to see. Works both ways. Nobody is accurate here from both sides of the spectrum of this discussion.

Let’s hope that Masai or Bobby does the more prudent business move and trade the guy so we can all move on.

Daniels is nice but Herb and Murphy are something else. If they won’t do that I’d even do it for their pick instead of the lakers pick (20ish compared to 10ish). Hayes and Willy are just salary filler

With 2 firsts in this draft (6&10ish) to fill out the roster and an extra first in 2028.

You also have the bird rights on Wall, Jackson, Willy and Hayes along with all our current guys if you want to bring them back and the roster spots to do it (Thad can be waived, only 1m is guaranteed of his 8).

You're right; you see what you want to see, a lot of what you're asking has been covered multiple times and if you haven't seen it, don't feel it or don't believe it yourself, it doesn't mean it's not necessarly true. And if you haven't seen the on-court body language that several of us have mentioned, that's pure on you.

None of which is needed to address that for a number of reasons, I'd be OK in seeing Fred be moved in the right deal. Not even saying I think Masai is going to but I think the odds are greater than they were a month ago.

Daniels, Herb and Lakers pick is a pretty good return for OG.

I like Daniels, but he's wasn't a player that anyone thought of as a high potential guy coming into the draft. Lakers pick might be nice if they don't make any moves before the deadline, but I'm not loving this trade proposal for OG. I'd like to see them secure at least one high potential type of player or pick for OG. Sharpe and Hart from Portland would add good depth to our roster and Sharpe is a player I consider to have high potential. Unfortunately Portland doesn't have any FRP's until 2028 if I read correctly.
