The schedule has been brutal. We knew this before the season started.

The rest of this month is a much fairer test of Darko and this team. Need to play above 500 ball for the rest of the month, none of these teams are contenders.

Yup. Raptors have had one of the hardest schedules so far. Already played the top 3 seeds (Celtics, Bucks and Sixers) in the East twice and the 2 and 3 seed in the West (Mavs and Wolves). It sucks we lost to the Bulls and Blazers or else our record would be looking pretty good right about now.

I hate to be a broken record, but it's not the coach. It's the players on the court. Players will do what they are comfortable doing. Coaching isn't rocket science in the NBA. Some can create a system that optimizes their talent. But when the talent doesn't really exist to optimize it's going to look a lot like what we've scene. You can take any coach in NBA history past or present, make them coach these Raptors.. and they likely have a 5-7 or 6-6 record too. At the end of the day it is what it is.

The roster is a hodge podge mess of guys that don't work well together, lots of low IQ guys that play dumb as hell, and we had an insanely hard schedule.

Now if we play under 500 for the rest of this month I'll start to judge him more harshly.

Despite our shortcomings we should beat these teams.

ill be honest if we stopped forcing all bench and barnes line ups we could likely be better. I do think there are adjustments we can do to be better. I also agree that the schedule hasn't been easy BUT we should have two more wins. I agree maybe I am being harsh but with a coaching staff that we have that has zero vet coaches I remain concerned.

Yup...those guys are out of the league in few years.
This team needs 2 strip it down and start the rebuild and than I will judge his coaching, bc right now he got a lot of idiots not playing his style of offense.

IF they're serious about winning then the starters need to play HEAVY minutes because that's the only way this team(as assembled) can compete.

If I'm the coach, the bench rotation would be a lot different. Only three players would see playing time. Dick and Temple because they can shoot. The other is Boucher. Why? because they have no other option. The rest of the bench don't have the brains to play NBA mins. Too dumb.
