Hard to believe anyone could think this kid should spend time in the GLeague. The team is committed to developing the younger players and Dick is no exception. I really like the way he's playing, he's further along than I had expected and I was expecting him to play regular rotation minutes...so needless to say I'm impressed. He's made some mistakes but thats what those minutes are for, acclimating to the speed of the game. His been aggressive at times and he is very active on the court, which is great to see. He really just needs his shot to fall consistently at this point, but he is confident and he is getting opportunities, so that will likely come around. Never been this excited about Dick before.

Nothing wrong with picking up some G-league minutes, it's a great tool in the development arsenal. It's not some black mark or something.

A few 30+ point games for the 905 would be fun!

I agree, but he doesn't really need it imo. He belongs on an NBA floor, and the team needs what he can bring. He's already ahead of Gary in my depth chart.

MLSE bans fans from bringing in signs with Gradey’s name, but the announcer can openly say “big dick” in front of thousands of fans and kids. SMH. Franchise lost their mojo everywhere, real quick.

Equal parts hilarious and embarrassingly pathetic that they had to formally address it. Feels like we're going back in time with this franchise, on all fronts, and not in a good way.

How about we just keep creating open looks for him and he starts knocking them down? Dick doesn’t strike me as a player that needs to have plays run for him. A few more DHOs would be nice.

Gradey just needs to take a little motion out of his shot. He’s overcompensating (tired legs, nba line/space, lack of strength, NBA limelight) with too much sling and leg kick and drift.

Did he have this much leg-kick at Kansas? Either way, they are short-nuances that a great shooter like Gradey will clean up in due course. The important thing is he’s playing the right way and getting the space to get shots off.

I think this management team doesn't want the optics of another failed draft pick (especially without another #1 this season) and will have to be absolutely forced to send him down although I agree it would be a good move if he continues to struggle against the upcoming mediocre teams.
