He seems like a guy we could start at SF if we did the Scottie + Gary for Dame trade.

Low usage, efficient on offense, decent defender. Also just turned 25, not like he's a finished product.

Definitely a solid bench piece.

McDaniels has shot over 55% on long 2’s (small sample size) and 34.5% from 3 over his career. That is some potential shooting upside to work with.

And 6’9” is pretty huge for a SF. I always thought he was a PF. He’s versatile.

Like you said… a solid bench piece who could replace a bunch of guys (Boucher, Precious, Thad, OPJ).
