Why not for the raptors ? Get rid of Steamer! Take a chance, we need a rebounder and shot blocker and he could be the guy. All these other teams that want him such as Dallas can't be totally wrong! Come on Massai I take a chance, we did nothing at trade dead - line ,do something now !

They may have registered interest. Not like the Mavs and Heat are the only teams to have contacted him (also, Dallas is pretty much going after every able bodied big man available, so who knows if they're wrong or right).
We know the leak wouldn't come from the Raps office, and maybe they asked him and his agent to keep it quiet. And they could be easily willing to oblige out of loyalty to the guy who gave McGee his big payday.

Javale McGee is as bright as a burnt out bulb. Let's keep the room full of professionals and people who want to win thanks. My only fear is that he's to Masai Ujiri what Andrea Pasta is to BC: a stained but apparently beloved part of his legacy.9 time first team all-RR, First Ballot Hall of Forum

It's not like I think the move would be amazing, and I'd have pretty much no expectation of it panning out....But again, it's not like Steamer's doing anything for us, and McGee at least theoretically has tools we could use.

Ain't gonna happen. We don't want the team chemistry to be effected and we don't have a strong leaders to ensure that McGee will stay in line. It is unfortunate because the FEAR of Disrupting " Team chemistry" has paralyzed MU to the level of being a non-influential GM and very ineffective GM.

Lol I hope nobody actually gives a shit about chemistry. He would make the team better that's all that matters

I'm surprised we haven't heard talk of him coming here, MU is the one that gave him the big contract, obviously he saw something in him (and let's be honest it's easy to see something in him, there aren't that many people on the planet with his size and athleticism).

I see absolutely no reason to not take out a flyer on McGee. Very low risk, VERY high reward.
As odd as this is going to sound, I think Hayes would be a very positive influence on him in particular. His issue was never character or being a negative influence...it was always low BB IQ."My biggest concern as a coach is to not confuse winning with progress." - Steve Kerr
