Agreed. It's why I cringe every time I see Tristan Thompson's name pop up in these threads. He's a younger, equally unpolished Reggie Evans.
I would be completely fine with bringing in Nik Stauskas though.

I think its absolutely hilarious how much sunshine you guys blow up Ujiri's ass.

I dont think he's bad, but he's nothing special.

You guys rip the fuck outta this team night in and night out. yet, the guy that built it, and stood pat with it at the deadline is a saviour.

Look buddy, if you disagree, then say so, but your locked-in condescending tone pretty much guarantees that nobody will ever take you seriously.

Also, you're almost always wrong, so there's that too.

I wonder why Morey, Presti, Hinkie, Ainge, Bird, Ferry, and Myers haven't been fired yet. Ainge hasn't won in years, and the rest just haven't won. Something about going with their team I guess. Oddly they've all been in place as long as or longer than Masai has been.

Guess it's just an old boys' club.

We've been through this a million times. I guess you expect the guy to take the team from bottom feeder to championship winner in 2 years. Without cap space, or the fact that no free agents want to come here. Like it's NBA2k, like there's not 29 other GM's trying to improve and stop you from improving.

C'mon Masai why you no add 3 all stars. 2 last offseason, and 1 more at the deadline. What's taking you so long loser

MU has a lot of work ahead of him this summer and cliche slogans like F***K THIS will not do it anymore.

While I agree that MU is no savior, he has done something that I don't think has ever really been done in recent Raptors history. He decided to actually let a team run its natural course while assembling players around a coach that fit his attitude and mentality, while never trading away our future or our flexibility...

He got guys to resign when people were certain that it would never happen, he traded away Bargs for something and he traded a Casey version of Rudy for something. Both of which I thought was impressive. He slowly acquired pieces I assume are his own in an additional 1st round pick, Bebe, Bruno and resigning Lowry. So essentially he let Casey try it his way while putting a back up plan in place.

That deserves praise and I believe it is also above average.

Now here's the catch, after seeing this team fall apart as built and seeing the coach unable to adapt did MU really have a backup plan or does it just appear that way? Will MU drop the dead weight and start building to his ideals?

I think this summer will be when we can start telling if MU has a vision and can build a champion or if he is average and just got lucky.

But no seriously... you guys need to stop acting like ugly step children everytime someone has something to say about your precious Raptors, its not that big of a deal... and besides, what is wrong about anything I have said about Ujiri? What has he done?

                      He traded Bargnani.

ok, nice work. I like it.

                      What else?

Honestly, the Gay trade wasn't all that..... and he signed a chucker this year. Like I said, i dont think h's bad, he just hasn't really done anything.

People have short memories. Do some of you forget what his legacy in Denver is?
I found this quickly but it aint the only thing out there talking about this.
