          He's looking for Superstar money but can't be used for four quarters and can't create his own shot except in the post. He is a great low post scorer but his defense negates this. His FTA are way down too.

                    Davis & Gasol, no. But Whiteside? Sure he's putting up incredible numbers, and he seems to be the real deal as a top-flight energy/hustle big, but great rebounding does not equate to great defense. JV is a much better post defender.

                      He's a good 1-on-1 post defender, but a poor help defender.
