  • Pistons @ Raptors Sun Nov 19th 4:00PM ET

The rough part of the schedule is over.

We are playing the official worst team in the NBA, the 2-11 Detroit Pistons.

That can mean only one thing.

If we lose this one to Dwane stinkin' casey again, time to blow it up
I want a Raps blow out win, at least by 20-30 with the staters resting the last to half of the 4Q
Oh, and Scottie and Pascal to each have a good game, not one or the other....

      Too much to ask?

Monty is the new coach in Detroit so at least that part of it is out of the equation. Hopefully Scottie wants to prove something against Cade and plays aggressively.

If it's a blowout we could play Scottie and Pascal 24 minutes each perfectly staggered. That's the key to them both having good games, not sharing the court.

Detroit has a bad record but man do they play hard. These guys will not bend over. They will make dumb mistakes because they are young though. But they will scrap hard. So I don't think this is an easy win. Feels like it could be a lot like that Portland game.

They'll still find a way to show Casey gloating in the stands somewhere

'Rough part of the schedule is over'

What does that mean? this ain't 2019 or 2020. Every game is going to be tough for this team. The Raptors are not in a position to underestimate anybody.

It means we played the top 3 teams in the East twice each and 2 of the top 3 teams in the West. That's 8 of our 12 games.

Did you just sniff paint or something?

I don't do that stuff that's kind of like your thing I think. Just a guess.

Anyway, there's no such thing as "rough part of the schedule". Every game is gonna be tough. This team blows. They have a bad roster and they are poorly coached. The team that they'll play tomorrow have a bunch of really good young players. The Raptors have one.

There is objectively a rough part of the schedule.

It's when we play the best teams in the NBA in close succession.

                      Really not hard to understand.

Those are games we were supposed to lose.

Also want to add, not a lot of people are aware of this because of all the Chet Holmgren hype but Ausar Thompson is the second best rookie this year. Thompson is special. I think he's the Pistons best young player not Cade.
