Check out what Givony has to say about Dunn.

    19. Toronto Raptors (via Pacers) Kyshawn George, SG/SF, Miami | Age: 20.5

Surrounding primary ballhandler Scottie Barnes with ample floor spacing will likely continue to be a priority for Toronto.

George hit 41% of his 3-pointers last season, and he is intriguing to teams as a 6-foot-8 player with guard skills, fluidity-changing speeds and strong instincts on both ends of the floor. George has significant upside he can tap into with a late-blooming trajectory.

Carrington, Da Silva, Edey, Ryan Dunn, Isaiah Collier are some of the names rival teams have suggested might be in play here, as well. -- Givony

Dunn is said to be gaining steam in this range of the draft after a slew of outstanding workouts this month propelled him firmly into the first round. Several teams have said Dunn exceeded expectations with his shooting while also doing some absolutely mesmerizing things defensively in guarding point guards through centers in group settings.
Chicago, Toronto and the New York Knicks are others that rival teams indicate could be high on him.

    • 100% we are picking George, if he’s still on the board. Project Team Canada.

      • 31 might be more valuable to a team currently in tax or apron trouble. It's really the first two years of minimum salary that are valuable, as they count as less than a vet minimum for tax purposes.

19 is definitely more valuable to us in our current situation.

And 1st round picks have low salaries for 4 years before RFA. If you want low salary for 4 years for a 2nd round pick they go straight to UFA. So if you really hit you have to pay that big raise a year early.

Teams can sign 2nd round picks to either a 3 yr (2 plus team option) or a 4 yr (3 plus team option) contract. At the end of a 3 yr deal, the player becomes a RFA, but a 4 yr deal the player becomes a UFA?
If we knew half as much about coaching an NBA team as we think, we"d know twice as much as we do.

          • One of De Silva or George would set us up well for wing shooting. Which one would look better coming off the bench next to Gradey? Which one would look better in the starting lineup next to Scottie?

Da Silva has some defensive instincts. Neither are excellent defenders. George has tools but has shown no real sign of defensive awareness, Silva is a little more limited physically but knows where to be, generally.

Since both will be rookies, neither will look good starting for quite some time, in all likelihood. But Da Silva is almost certainly more ready.

I think Da Silva is my guy if we can get him. Fits the Jalen Smith timeline.

                    • I can’t believe how much Tyler Smith has dropped in Givony’s mock draft.

Da Silva is such a boring pick, I’d rather Missi, Ware or George if it played out the way Givony is calling it.

I'm not surprised. He's soft and doesn't play defense. Da Silva is pretty limited, but at least he knows how to play the game. Sort of reminds me of Chris Duarte when he came into the league.

                                9. Dunn or George. Bub if he's there. I doubt it. I think Miami will take him at 15.

                                31. Draft a PG or a shooter like Christie.
