              According to Wojnarowski (via Twitter), San Antonio is receiving Minnesota’s unprotected 2031 first-round pick and a 2030 pick swap in the deal. The ’30 swap will be top-one protected, tweets Shams Charania of The Athletic. Neither of the Wolves’ 2024 picks (No. 27 and No. 37) are involved in the trade, confirms Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports (Twitter link).

                            It would still be making trades after the 1st round.

                            I think it just gives a bit more trade umph to high 2nds since teams will have more time to analyze who is left after round 1.
                            3-way deals, for example, which would involve a 2RP would take longer to work out. But now you’ve got a whole night to engage that 3rd team.
