He's basing it on the guys he wanted us to pick not being selected even though they were available. Same stuff everyone has to go on with every pick so far. I don't think it's too early to say if you like who we drafted or not.
Liking, or not liking, the picks is one thing .. assessing them as "Big, fat 0/2 whiff" is not that though. Lol

    • Who is the comparable for Shead? A more athletic Pat Bev?

      • Shead doesn’t look small out there, on a college court, at all. Guy looks like a beast.

A little strange they picked both of them up, Maybe it will make sense after they make their FA moves.

the point guard battle is going to be intense they are all on the same level. if its true a open spot battle we will get someone that can hold their own.meaning if IQ already has the job going in and its his to lose then bringing in all these guys is pointless.

same goes for the SG battle NO FAVOURITES.

if darko creates this situation then raptors will win and maybe even in a losing season we win!

Just need one to hit, we needed a backup PG, and a third string PG. We got both and two guys that can push each other and Quick for that matter. Still have a couple combo guys in JFL and Walter if we want to spam more shooting around point Scottie plus bench lineups.

Good to have guard depth. Good to bring in some guys with an edge that can start to shift the team identity towards defense.

Plus there’s nothing wrong with Shead starting his pro career helping to turn around the 905 development program - should be an exciting time to have 905 tickets.

                      • Love the Shead pick, I wasn’t completely at the time but he’s a gamer. Can finish at the rim at a high clip, great defender, great passer (can actually throw lobs) just needs to work on his outside shooting…but that’s doable. I agree he doesn’t look small in his highlights.

Mogbo, there’s flashes there, and I see the intrigue, but at his age, I think there were better options available at the time. But, I hope he works out, he has the tools, good court vision, good athlete, good size, just needs to shoot, and a better handle.

Chomche, from the film I watched, a complete project, but has crazy athleticism, good size and 18. He’ll be a Gleague project for a while, but at 57, good swing.

if he could play point then yes you are correct its like you ask for a mango and someone brings you a apple and says well i did get you fruit.
Nah, bro. You asked for mangoes and Bobby got you the 2 best mangoes. Now you’re changing the goalposts to a fruit salad. lol.

Shead is a straight up beast. Can’t wait to release the hounds on PGs like Maxey.

                            Love this guy already.

                            • Won't really get a sense until we see these guys suite up, but I think we aced this draft. Looking forward to summer league. Last season's SL team was so bad.
