I don't think keeping the pick this year automatically means they lose it next year. My guess is they are in the bottom 6 next year regardless of whether they add a lottery pick this year or not.

I would beg to differ. I don’t see him as an NBA player at all. I know he was out for a while with his heart issues but he’s now played in 18 games.

His shooting splits are bad, 36% from the field, 27% from 3 and 62% from the free throw line. He started 6 games and is averaging 20 minutes per so he’s gotten a legit chance to show what he can do. He needs another year of college to see if he can make a jump. I would be pissed if a team rosters him because of his dad when another player actually deserves a shot.
