Let's shift the focus a bit and talk about the Raptors team needs. This is who I think will for sure be back next season by position.
PG: Quickley
SG: Barrett, Dick, Agbaji
SF:
PF: Barnes
C: Poeltl, Olynyk
I'd put Nwora as a likely, so maybe slot him in at backup SF
So we basically have no starting SF (maybe no backup also), no backup PG, and no backup PF.
I'm a BPA guy but it doesn't seem likely a C is going to be the BPA at any of our picks, and this is a pretty bad draft for C in general. We just really don't seem like a roster than needs a project C.
Seems like everyone in this thread should be focusing on the SF, PF, and PG that we could draft who would be realistic at each pick.
It could be argued that all of our SG can play as an undersized SF, and I buy that, but that still leaves wing as a pretty weak spot on the roster.
