Based on what? Besides height. Because it's certainly not based on skill, or in-game play.

I would say he's closer to a young BroLo or JV, or maybe a guy like Zubac.

This team has SO MANY HOLES in their lineup, the C is not one of them. We are set at the C position.

We don't need Edey man. If he was a can't miss big man prospect like Olajuwon or Shaq, then sure draft him. He's not. He's just another big man who has questionable NBA skills.

We need a quality PG, we need more wings that can shoot, we need a 3D guy, and we need a PF to backup Barnes. Last thing we need is a center.

He's not the best big man NBA prospect, and that is universally agreed upon, even guys like Givony who are high on him have several other big men rated quite a bit higher.

With IQ and Barnes, we don't really minutes for a top tier PG prospect, ad in anycase, we can get Edey and still pick up Kolek who can contribute right away. After Topic and Sheppard, which unless we keep and use our top 6 pick on them, there is nobody really better than Kolek.

If we keep our top 6, then noone here is saying we should use it on Edey. What useful PG are you drafting with the Indiana or Detroit pick?

20-30 seems about the right risk/reward. Most guys picked in that range will wash out of the league anyway.

We have 1 PG on the roster in IQ. It's clearly one of our bigger needs. We have 2 good veteran centers on the roster, so clearly way better set at C than PG. We need someone to play when IQ sits or is out.

Who's backing up IQ right now? nobody. An injury to IQ or Barnes next year would fuck the season up.

The PG position is an important position. You can't just plug in some dude to play PG. The C position is the complete opposite. Just plug in someone like Bitadze(there's a lot of Bitadze in this league) to backup Poeltl and they're fine.

I am guessing based on his current game.
Of course he can be projected to any other bigs, but that's projection. May or may not pan out.
BroLo was never projected to be a good 3 pt shooter.

IQ is the ONLY point guard on this team. Barnes is really more of a point forward and he's the backup. So we need a 3rd PG that can play. A quality one.
