    Yeah, can't say I'm a fan either.

He's got skills, but he's not a player who pushes the needle in any way. He's a complimentary piece at best.

      Middleton.

      Great shooter.

      Good defender.

      Classic 3D guy.

      5 years younger than Green.

I really like the idea of green next to JV, so for that I would have to say green. I wouldn't turn my nose up at either though.

My thoughts on Young? he's horrible.

Young is an undersized 4 who can't shoot. Can't shoot freethrows. He's basically an energy guy. Think of a poor man's Terrence Jones.

I personally really like him and would rather him than Amir-- but of course-- people disagree. What are your thoughts on him? If he opts-out would you offer him a deal? If so, how much?
He is going to get paid by Brooklyn too.

            Brooklyn is so screwed.

They went all in on geriatric Celtics and colossal contracts that now they have no draft picks or cap space.

Anyone coming off a contract there or who can opt out (Lopez) can hold them for ransom.

They can't tank and the guys they have are decent but they aren't going to land you top draft picks.

            LOL

            What a mess.

But Young is going to personally benefit from it.... Lopez too.

Raps #1 off season priority, when it comes to the roster, is getting legit starting level talent at SF or PF.

The starting 5 needs a talent infusion.
I haven't really been following the Aldridge situation in Portland. What's the feeling there? Is he loyal?

                I would pass.

He is going to be 30 this summer.

I think it has Joe Johnson written all over it.

Green was born March 4, 1990.

Middleton was born August 12, 1991.

By my count that is 1.5 years.

                  lol

Maybe he was looking at Jeff Green?

                      Green.

                      He is versatile.

                      Tough and gritty.

                      Can shoot the 3.

                      Rebounds like a mo' fo'.

Is a winner and does the dirrrty to make it happen.

                      Green.
This reads like a Haiku, but the syllables are off ...

                      I also agree.

Shit it's Draymond Green not Jeff Green Lol.

I'd take Draymond Green over Middleton for sure.

Sounds more like a script for an infomercial.

"He's versatile! Tough and gritty! Can shoot from deep! Rebounds like a motherf*****! Is a winner, and does the dirty to make it happen!
And he can be all yours for 3 easy payments of $59.99! You heard it! $59.99!"

Anyway, I think Middleton would be a more realistic target. I don't think that Green can be pried away from Golden State, and if he would want to leave anyway.
                            OG is our king

                              Free agent wing dream list

IF I am Masai I am on the phone July 1st hitting up those guys (Leonard*, Green, Butler, Middleton, Harris).

*Leonard is due diligence - I know he isn't going anywhere.

After that I go Green, Butler, Middleton, Harris, in order, giving each 2 hours to hammer out an offer sheet they would match. I would do the MAX for all of them. They can pick bonuses, clauses, options, etc.

If you get an agreement to sign, I would renounce Amir, Lou, and Bro and pray that the hopefully former team doesn't match.

Raps need talent in the starting lineup. A max deal after next season is going to be equivalent to about $12M. In current structure I'd pay any of them $12M.

Once that gets done, I'd look to trade DeRozan for highest draft pick possible and pick best player available - hopefully a SG or PF. Getting #4 to take D'Angelo Russell would be amazing. Use #20 to take another Bruno-like swing for the fences.

But none of this is happening soooo..... back to your regularly scheduled forum browsing.
