I've seen all the Sheryl Swoopes stuff/drama. Smh. Jealousy is one hell of a drug folks. These so called WNBA legends should be thanking Clark because she's made that league relevant.

and Sheryl is terrible human being
After the conclusion of the 2015-16 season, 10 of the 12 remaining Loyola women's basketball players asked to be released from their scholarships. Some of the players reached out to media outlets, like the Chicago Tribune, and alleged player mistreatment from coach and Hall of Fame player Sheryl Swoopes. It caused concern within the school, and in mid-April an investigation was launched.
The conclusion apparently came Sunday evening in the form of a brief statement, as Loyola broke through the holiday weekend news cycle with an announcement that Swoopes had been terminated.
"Sheryl Swoopes is no longer serving as the women's basketball coach at Loyola University Chicago," the statement read. "A search for her replacement will begin immediately. Loyola thanks Sheryl for her service to the women's basketball program."Only one thing matters: We The Champs.

Another thing, I remember all the nonsense on why Caitlin did not make Team USA. A lot of people were saying they picked the best players and Caitlin is not a top 12-15 player. Y'all still feel that way? Caitlin Clark is in the MVP convo now, she is a legitimate top 5 player in the league. Forget about the ROY nonsense, that shit is over a long time ago.
I read this whole thing right from the VERY beginning(a lot of people did). There's a lot of hating going on, jealousy and racism.Mamba Mentality

Those 7 games have all come since June 23rd, which makes that comparison against other players' career records all the more impressive. She hasn't just done that in 34 games, she did it over her last 17 games.
Truly bonkers run of play.

They set global women's basketball back by 4 years by not including Clark on the squad. I was watching tons of Olympics coverage and they basically didn't even talk about women's basketball, no one cared. It was never the suggested event to watch when you went to the Olympics section of Peacock, you had to dig into the app to find it. The women in charge of the selection really did a disservice to the sport.

If you watch Reese, the fundamentals are terrible. Her footwork is bloody atrocious. 95% of the time she takes this odd bunny hop into her shots which causes her to go more forward than up so her momentum is propelling her forward while she's trying to shoot up with touch. Since physics don't work like that, her shots end up thrown towards the backboard with too much speed and a lack of control. It's why she's completely stymied if a defender is strong enough to push against her: if she can't take that hop forward she actually can't trigger the ball.
Then, when you watch her release the ball, it's all from the palm of her hand as she pushes it up. It's why there's no spin or touch on the ball when it hits the rim/backboard. Again, there are lots of them that do this. She can't do a finger roll which is why she struggles on the break to score layups - with her speed running and the bunny hop forward she can't corral the ball with her fingers so there's zero touch and she just throws it up.
To me, it's unacceptable that she went through high school, university and now the WNBA and not one coach, trainer, shot doctor or scout has said, 'hey, Angel, your footwork is fucking terrible and you're embarrassing yourself. Let's take a month and get this fixed'.

David Stern would have had already had Nike, Coke, McDonald's, Apple, Google, etc. lining up ads with her and Curry or her and Lebron.

she's averaging 25/6/9 on 48% from the field and 39% from 3 after the break
