If we used that logic for this season (considering our very strong finish in 2013-14) then we should have been a much better team than we ended up being. A half a season sample size is not a very good predictor of future success.

Whereas a full season sample size is? So we're winning 49 games next year with this roster and Casey?

Problem was the guy playing next to him GV. If Lou is being Lou, Vasquez is just a pylon on D that adds nothing offensively. Add in Ross being the second pylon that just stands around and the second unit gave up a lot of points. Also the backcourt and Ross might be the worst rebounding trio in the NBA, except GV who is surprisingly adequate

It is surprising as he can't jump and I've never, ever seen him box out.

The whole bench squad had pretty decent ratings. But that's hard to continue in the playoffs for a bunch of reasons. Same deal with all the free throws the offense (DD, LW and KL) generated - which is what pushed their offensive efficiency so above average. More difficult to do against disciplined players and teams who will focus on your strengths and have seen all the fakes before. Plus I think the refs stopped falling for it after a while.

This. I don't understand why people keep trying to pin all the blame on Lou.

He gets called a chucker, yet he was the only guard on the team who shot efficiently (56% TS%). He's a 6th man, he was doing his job. Coming off the bench, scoring in the mid-to-high teens and scoring at a good clip.

One of the reasons for our oncredibke starts that few people mention is how broken the system was to start the year...yet despite that Lou was so hot that he won every second game by going off.

I hate Lou but I got to give him props for winning quite a few for us at the beginning of the year

yea im a supporter, he's the only FA we should bring back...advanced stats shows he has a Win Share of almost 7 games (6.6) and his WS per 48 (.157) is .057 above the league average (.100). He's a volume shooter and potential game changer that you gotta take the bad with the good on players like that.
