2. 11. i see this season playing out as them trying to compete but digging a hole early due to the tough schedule, then winning some games due to talent/schedule and everyone feeling pretty good about the core, then shutting key guys out down the stretch to chase ping-pong balls but not being bad enough to compete with the real tankers.

I don't see them as champs, at least not this year. They are deep, but young and green. I think I'd rate the Wolves above them as potential champs, if I had to.

OKC also has the assets to get a lot better via trade, and their internal development should be off the charts for an already-elite team. Plus people just like them - their stars, their management, their roster construction.

Ya, I agree. They're a hard bunch not to root for. And I get the feeling all high character guys too, that are just out there having fun, and just so happen to winning alot of games.

But I also agree that they need more time in the oven to bake.

But generally, I agree. What they've been able to do in rebounding from the Simmons mess, and THEN the Harden mess, is pretty remarkable. Credit where credit it due. Morey may be a liar, but he's seemingly good at his job.
