Yeah, the three player limit is the D-League. Summer league is entirely run by the club - there are no contracts, it's basically a tryout league. You can invite whoever you want, so long as their NBA rights aren't owned by someone else.

The summer league as a whole starts July 4th. But the Raptors play they're 1st game July 10th in Las Vegas

I've always wondered why the Raptors don't play in the Orlando summer league. Even some western conference teams like the Clippers go all the way to Orlando and they also play in the Las Vegas SL as well.

Who needs a lot of these guys if Bruno and the organization can speed his development in time for this season. If a rookie Bargnani can come in and show some flashes playing a simplified game, why can't Bruno? A PF rotation of PP/James/Bruno looks intriguingly modern to me.

I've always wondered why the Raptors don't play in the Orlando summer league. Even some western conference teams like the Clippers go all the way to Orlando and they also play in the Las Vegas SL as well.

Yeah never made sense to me why you wouldn't play in both. Hell, split the roster to take on as many young guys as possible if you want, but get Bruno/Bebe as many minutes as possible.

That's why I'm turning my interest to backup 5s like Biyombo to complete the young roster.
