His handles aren't as bad as some people say, that was pretty nasty.

He is a little Westbrook-esque on his straight-line drives.

It's the classic "get exicted by Powell's defence but fuck Wright's offence" and vise versa.

I like his confidence, very sure of himself which is a good start for development.

He reminds me of a Demar Derozan but with better defense.

he's an absolutely terrible shooter but his first step and straight line speed is ridiculous. add in that hilarious wingspan and he's got the makings of a decent player. wouldn't shock me at all if he ended up with the most nba minutes of the d-league crew at the end of the year.

semi-related, i don't think Wright spends much time if any in the d-league

Powell has a chance of hustling and powering himself into the rotation. He seems to be way more assertive and aggressive than Ross.

I think there's a good chance that Wright cuts into Ross' minutes (as in, Wright gets minutes as the backup point, and Cojo slides over to shooting guard).

Wright's game is a little reminiscent of Jason Kidd's.

If Wright had a shot would he be close to CP3?

I think they keep Wright in the D-League as much as possible so Bruno and BeBe will have a good passer there to set them up.
