I was musing more along the lines will it be minimum $525k or will it be bumped a little to like $700k - Raps do have cap space to do that.

But with 2 years guaranteed it might be straight minimum which isn't bad at all for a 2nd round pick.

I think you give him the very minimum and tell him there will be a lot more when he provea himself in the NBA.

Powell should then take that with a smile and be thankful he gets a shot.

odds are this statement is correct but then again look at Steve Nash career, or even kidd he didn't develop a good shot until the end of his career.

Guys like Nash and English are ultra rarities. Yeah, it's possible but highly unlikely.

I read somewhere that we have to use some cap space in addition to the minimum in order to be able to offer three years. I think it was Blake that said it. So this will be an above min deal, I'm just not sure how that all plays out
