Or keep DD and you'll have room for a 10M dollar player. Which is peanuts next summer.
Or keep Ross too and you'll have practically no room. If you keep just Ross and let DD walk, you'd have about 17M to offer, again meaning you can be outbid by 20 teams, but you might be able to get an OK player with that.
Slamdunk talks about re-signing Derozan for 20 million. Later you mention that Derozan's cap hold will likely be ~15 million.
When you talk about keeping DD and having room for a 10 million dollar player, is that assuming that DD will be re-signed first, and the other player will be signed after? Or is that assuming that the 10 million dollar player is signed first to maximize the available space for the signing, with DD signed afterward? I'm assuming it's the latter, taking advantage of the moratorium to get both deals done, but if it is by some chance the former, that's an extra 5 mil in space that can be had in 2016 if we're willing to go over the cap heading into the future. Or do I have this all backwards?

In reality, it's going to change and it's a bit hard to predict right now. Masai has said that he wants to extend Jonas and Ross this summer, so that part will probably change. He also said that we aren't likely to keep all draft picks, so that will also affect the cap space.
Also, the cap will probably be higher than 89 mil, projections are conservative. This year's projection was behind reality by 3 mil, it's not likely to catch up next year. 95 mil cap might be more likely.
It's possible that we could have way over 20 mil in cap space next summer if we didn't extend Jonas / Ross now and moved a role player like 2pat. But more likely those guys will get extended and we'll have practically nothing.

Yeah, all my calls are optimistic ones - cap holds only (so signing expensive players last).

This is best tool I've seen for sorting free agents:
http://www.spotrac.com/nba/free-agents/2016/
Can sort by team, position, RFA/UFA, and year.
I think it is reliable. Only found 1 error looking through - they had Gallinari as RFA (kind of moot point with his extension though). I like it.
From Raps perspective, not a whole lot to see in RFA as most are going to be extended or matched anyways.
RFA Guards:
Fournier?
Wroten?
Lamb?
RFA Forwards:
Harkless?
Jones?
D-Mo?
Nicholson?
RFA Centres:
Ezeli? (raps stacked anyways)
Unrestricted means competition and overpayment to get a guy. Durant is the main event in 2016. After that, there really isn't that much besides Horford and our own long 2 specialist.
UFA Guards:
Vasquez? (lol)
Actually don't see any UFA guards of interest. All are either old, same or worse of what is already here, or have serious warts.
UFA Forwards:
Durant?
Horford?
Batum? (think he can play SG - going to find out this year in Charlotte, anyways)
UFA Centres:
One position Raps are pretty stacked at with three 23 year olds: JV, BB, and LN.

I think we will look at draft for a sg.
We have what should be a late lotto and our own pick, that should let us get one of the guards next season.
Few good looking kids there right now, be interested to watch them once ncaa season starts

You don't draft for position you draft BPA. I guarantee you Masai is not targeting a SG, he is targeting getting the best talent we can at our draft spot.
