If you are looking to build a complete team then:

      Lowry
      AP
      Vince
      Bosh
      Davis

Got a pg who can shoot well, defend and either score or setup plays

Got a sg who can defend, is high iq and can shoot threes very well.

      Got vince

      Got bosh

Davis is strong, great defender and rebounder and solid at scoring inside.

        Asked for 5, but I'll throw (10)

        Lowry (Jose)
        Vince (Demar)
TMac (MoPete) ... soon to be Demarre
        Bosh (Oak)
        Antonio (Jonas)

I was thinking all time at the moment of that posting.

                but just for giggles

                Last seasons lowry(his best)
                2008-2009 for Jose(his best)

Lowry scored 5 points more a game, but took 5 more shots.
Lowry had a usage rate 9% higher
Lowry got 2 more boards a game
                Lowry better Defender (5 points)

                Jose FAR superior shooter
Jose more assists (3 per game)
Jose better offensive rating (13 points0
Jose better net rating (7 points)
                Jose better winshare/48

Calling Calderon better than Lowry is borderline blasphemous.

Calderon was a game manager, a very good one, but that's all he was. Was also a sieve on defense, he didn't impact the game much.

Lowry at his best is a pitbull on both ends and makes a huge impact on the game... drawing charges, taking and making big shots, getting teammates involved, banging for boards, etc. It's not even close.

Replace Jose with Lowry on those 06-07 and 07-08 Raptor teams and you're talking 50-55 wins not high 40s.

Shall I post my line-up again if WE ARE DOING THIS Ala Legacy league?

                      Damon
                      Vince
                      Peja
                      Bosh
                      Olajuwon
Peja was a shell of himself. I think the lineup has to reflect the best they played while on the Raptors.

I'm a Jose fan but he played his best ball off the bench. That's where he really shined, when coming off the bench for TJ and advanced stats suggest he was much more efficient then as well. He was a spark, a general to the second unit. He was also a human pylon but that wasn't as exposed coming in as a reserve.

In regards to your comment on win share, Kyle's win share/season is higher in Toronto than Jose's was.

                      Kyle is the better player.

Also another reason Jose was more efficient was because he would dribble dribble dribble until the shot clock was nearly at zero and then quickly pass it to someone else with like 1 sec on the clock. You guys don't even understand how angry that used to make me.

Now we've got dribble-attack oriented guards in Lowry, Cory, Wright, and DeMar. It really is a new era of Raptors basketball. Hell, Ross might make strides with his slashing ability in a new role.
