  • Could Dwane Casey be the Eastern Conference All Star Coach now

Now that David Blatt is fired, we sit in 2nd place
and even if Atlanta overtook us, apparently there is a rule where it can't be the same coach 2 years in a row.

This is a huge mistake for Cleveland.

I am totally behind hiring Blatt this offseason.

And does Luke Walton coach the West? Steve Kerr is back behind the bench tonight.

              Odd situations in both conferences.

Sweet. Cleveland was playing good ball. Maybe it'll work, or maybe itll explode in their face. I like that there's a chance it will explode in their face.

Haha, I guarantee the last thing pop wants is to come to toronto and coach that "stupid game" where they take all those "circus shots"

It can't be the same coach 2 years in a row, so it can't be Kerr.

Lol Casey coaching would be awesome though.

"Alright guys here's the gameplan, get it to LeBron and stand back. If you're over 6'9, understand that your role card for this game will be 'water boy'. If your last name isn't James and you call for and/or shoot the basketball, you will hit the bench. Alright let's go get em guys, pound.... that.... rock!"

No idea what the rule is. That's an NBA guidelines thing (which are not public) not a CBA thing - CBA only addresses player responsibilities if they make the game, not who makes it, and doesn't address coaches at all.

I don't know ... wanna beat the Cavs, obviously ... but I admire LeBron. So fair and square (plus non-life threatening injuries, of course )
