Well if something was broken or badly strained, sprained, torn etc, I'm sure people within an eyes view would notice you are in discomfort, trying not to move it, or if it was very bad you probably wouldn't even be hanging around post game at all.

Except if he doesn't want it to get out that the injury might be worse than he's saying, he'd be consciously avoiding doing anything that makes it look like he's favoring it.

negative x-ray means the radiologist didn't find anything wrong in the scan.

They will be following up, likely tomorrow, with an MRI, seeing as these guys are worth millions of dollars.

If it were you or me, we'd wait about 3 months for an MRI.

At a guess, I think he'd play. Good opportunity to see what he's got, he's a mature guy who's been playing quite a bit and less messing with everyone's roles. Like Bebe did when JV was out.

We need to beat NY. For several reasons.

1.) We all hate NY, they are our nemesis.
2.) We get their draft pick, more losses equals better pick for us
3.) Set the win streak record
4.) Move one step closer to 1st in the East, the dream is real
5.) A repeat of reason 1, I hate the Knicks so fucking much

I want to beat them to keep their current slump going. Gotta love reason number 2, and I think if Melo misses some time and the East being so competitive, they can maybe drop to one of the last 3-4 spots in the conference.

I think the franchise record is a big deal. It's a great notch on the belt. I don't hate New York (but there are players and teams I dislike). But the other reasons are perfectly valid to me. And giving your coach a chance at the All Star spot, too. Some members may not like this. But I sure hope the players feel this way - even if Casey gets fired next week, and we're getting Popovich - it's still what you'd want ...

Well, when I had torn wrist ligaments(~4 years ago), doc told me straight away after xrays. MRI was needed just to confirm it

you had a good doctor (or an obvious injury) then. my experience was that they wouldn't make any calls without as much imaging as possible.
