Watching LaVine play he is a modern PG.

Very good shooter off the dribble and he has very good court vision.

Also not strong enough to play against SGs

He takes some bad pullup shots and he's not good at them. How much strength do you really need as a SG? Also, 20 yrs old.

Westbrook out of UCLA was in the same situation. Even now he isn't a natural PG but people forget how his first few years went in the NBA.

Westbrook is 3 inches shorter than LaVine so there was more of a necessity for that transition.

Rubio is a no-D Rondo.

Can't really rank defensive ability by PM. CoJo is at -0.44 (even though he's better than a number of guys above him) because Lowry has been so good on D this year.

I follow LaVine closely because I have him in RR Dynasty and because he's awesome.

He scores better as a SG, but distributes much better and rebounds significantly better as a PG.

Better net rating as a SG though.

Ya I've seen him have his best games at PG because he is good at getting people involved. At SG he floats a lot and doesn't impact the game as much.

Looking at this page says he shoots 49% after 7+ dribbles (ie after dribbling the ball up the court). That's pretty good.

I really like his passing ability though. Very underrated floor general already

And he gets wrecked by opposing SG's right now

As far as defensive stats, they're all flawed...

Ross and CoJo aren't great in DRPM, but they look amazing in opponent production, DFG% and DRtg.

Being fair, PG is a loaded position in both conferences. Not really that many nights off in the league.
