Yes - hooray!! Last year Raps won plenty of this type of games - and then came playoffs.
So what is this kind of win actually worth? Padded stats? Some kind of WOW factor? How does this win make the team better if the team is simply not included? Or is this actually Raps current modus operandi: KL/DD play ball - the rest of raps feed them and wipe their shit? And BTW, the guys who are "not making" the shots more often than not have better FG% as well.
You realize that they have better fg% because they are support players and generally just take a few wide open shots a game vs lesser defenders?

I guess golden state should stop relying so much on steph and klay, and start getting looks for speights

Who knows? I would just argue that last year Kyle was burnt out by now and the second half of the season the team was losing more than they won. This year there seems to be some consistency which probably bodes well for the first round of the playoffs...

They need to rest Scola as much as anyone else, or there could be trouble. But, I don't think there's any reason for doom and gloom yet. This could be the best team in Raps history...Yes, that's not saying much, but it's at least worth enjoying for what it is.

There's a night and day difference between this year's team and last year's. The defensive scheme is completely different and we've been able to keep a solid defense afloat despite missing our best defender for the majority of the season. The offense whether you realize it or not is fairly different as well.

Lol, those tweets are somewhat funny (on the assumption that she doesn't actually believe what she's typing).

Well - GSW win rings. Raps don't. Are their superstars that much better - or is their system superior to what Raps rely on under Casey? KL/DD are superstars in this league, no doubt, on par with the best of them - so what gives? There are dimensions and depth to a championship team (GSW - for example) that can adjust, shift, regroup and find a way to win because they play the game. Raps' game is to just feed the KL/DD duo and scratch a win NOW. A that win is for what? I wonder if I asked Raps what they have learned about team play in basketball yesterday... um, maybe not.
Raps have excellent players, stars and superstars - they barely have a team and for that I fault Casey 100%. Win NOW is digging a grave come playoffs.

We held them to 94 and won by 10..you seem a little bit too angry.

I think a few people are still holding an unshakeable grudge from last year's sweep and nothing will get the bitterness out until we win a round..

What? Have you seen what steph curry does night in night out? KL/DD are good but Curry is on another planet

Lol DD isn't a superstar, he is an all-star, I'd say Lowry is a borderline superstar. Curry is the greatest player in the NBA right now and the greatest shooter of all time. The guy is breaking records. Huge difference between Lowry/DD and Curry. The Warriors' players are better and they have a better system, thats why they won a championship.

I followed Raps last season - this year their defense is only better because front court was asked to help out crappy guard defense more. I fail to see the evolution here - seriously. Maybe just incremental upgrade with BB/Scola addition. You want to talk about offence improvements as a team? Seriously?
As far as missing "best defender" - hope he gets better and is able to join the team soon, but again, this is typical of Raptors logic: silver bullet will fix everything. If it does not - blame him.

The entire system is radically different and if you followed the Raps closely last year it would stick out like a sore thumb. Nevermind the significant upgrade in guard/wing defence from Lou/GV to Joseph/Carroll (when he's played). And yeah, Biyombo over Hansbrough is nothing to sneeze at either. Scola is a step back, but everyone knows that's a problem needs fixing.

No that really isn't the main difference. The way we guard the pick (the action that starts many offensive sets in today's NBA) has completely changed. Last year we had a defense based on constantly rotating and it constantly left guys looking lost and out of position.
Also did you just mention scola as a defensive upgrade???

If I sound a little bit too angry after a win - so be it. It's only because I would like to be happy and see Raps progress to the elite status. We all know why they got swept last year, it was pretty sickening - who wants a repeat of that.
