    Umm ok.

We had no small forward. And Giannis came in much more NBA ready than Bruno.
No, no, no. The only difference between them is NBA playing time. That's the sole factor at play.

And we all know that no young player (Derozan) has ever developed into anything as a member of the Toronto (Valanciunas) Raptors cause young players get no opportunity (Ross) to play here as can be seen with refusal of the coaching staff to play any rookies (Powell) this year at all.

So we can't develop players either now?

Yeah, and look how many minutes and touches our #5 pick JV is getting. No way we're getting Triple Double Giannis with Lowry and DeMar dominating the ball.
    Ok.

Giannis was a mess his rookie season, let's not kid ourselves. 19.4% turnover rate, 10.2% rebounds, 12.1% assists, .031 WS/48. He played 1800 minutes.

Sooo...anyone else agree that Jabari Parker is not going to be a good NBA player? He isnt very smart and often cut into his teammates space and screwed them over. Also defense....
Weird time to be saying this. He's been playing his best basketball for a good stretch. 21 ppg and 6.5 rpg on 51% shooting the past 14 games. He's going to be very good once he's a little more polished.. He's pretty much only played the equivalent of one NBA season so far.

There is zero chance Giannis would be what he is today on our team. He has played 6774 minutes to date. Bruno, who is nine months younger, drafted a year later and only 5 spots lower, has played 27 minutes to date.

The Leap that Giannis is making this year is a product of playing time and opportunity, neither of which he would have received on our team.

It's really too bad Masai couldn't figure out a way to trade into that 2013 draft like he wanted to. A Lowry-DeRozan-Giannis-JV core would be absolute amazing.

Not sure that classifies as an update
Well at least he said the check up went well and he is looking to ramp up his workouts. They weren't even saying that before.

That team is made of Giannis, Middleton, and Henson. No centers and no legit #1 point guards (tho Bayless and Ennis both look great for the backup PG spot). Also Henson needs a sandwich and some dumbells.

Honestly those three guys look amazing and if their upper management could turn over the rest of the roster with a legit center and some shooters they could be really good. Dont see the potential if they try and keep this grouo together. Curious to see what they do this offseason
Parker has potential to be a good 3rd option..he's pretty efficient.

I thought ennis looked great last night, he really deserves a chance.

Leo has zero personality or humor. I like when Matt and Jack start riffing on things like jack still having a flip phone and a tape deck
That and if he gets a little leash.. Jacks grasp of the game as it unfolds simply dwarfs those of Kid 'Kuse.
