So who's going to be guarding KD in this game? Powell? *gulp*

Better than anyone else we have at this point.

I could see Patterson guarding Durant while he's in, definitely if Durant plays the 4 as well. As for the start of the game I guess it'd be DeRozan, Powell doesn't have the height.

And DD doesn't have the skills to guard Durant. Tony Allen is small and very capable at guarding KD. Not saying Powell is as good as Allen, but I'd rather Powell guard him than DD.

I don't see the harm in trying Powell on Durant. If it goes poorly, throw JJ in there, though it would be nice to have Powell guard Westbrook instead if that was the case.

I like Powell. He's a great defender. But he's 6'4. Durant is what, 6'11? he's too big for Powell.

Demar has stepped up at times in the past when we needed a big defensive effort. I'd be curious to see what he's able to do against Durant.

I like Powell. He's a great defender. But he's 6'4. Durant is what, 6'11? he's too big for Powell.

6'4 but super long (6'11 wingspan IIRC). There's no ideal defender for Durant.
