  • How was the first Raptors team assembled?

With this Vegas thing going on in the NHL, I was wondering how the first Raptors roster was built?

    Thanks!

Millions of years ago tiny insects sucked the blood of dinosaurs. Then they get stuck in amber and in 1994 a team of scientists extracted the dino DNA and brought the dinosaurs back to life. They spared no expense.

Then the dinosaurs ate everybody and we named our team after them.
It’s Ogugua season. Time to gugua.

Iirc all the teams had to make two players available and raps and grizzlies took turns picking. It's been a long time so you'd probably have to look it up. Went something like that.

Then Steve Francis refused to play in Vancouver, somebody thought Big Country Reeves should be an NBA franchise player which took him away from his true calling as a strip club bouncer in Montana, people with a lot of money screwed over Vancouver, and the rest is history!

The most shocking part of the Grizzlies story is how Stu Jackson was able to find employment in this league again, even if it was head office.

I think the Raptors should be getting the Naismith Cup every year by default. Need more basketball banners in the ACC.
