Looks like the NBA is changing up the all-star game. Fan voting will still be there, but the two guys with the highest votes (from either conference) will be captains. They can then select 6 more players to play on their team from either conference. So no more East vs West.

Like that they're changing things up.

Personally I would have liked the Eastern Conference All-Stars vs the Warriors just to show how ridiculously unfair it is that this team is assembled. It can be like the Oilers vs Russia back in the day.

Did the NHL change it so they don't draft every player? the last 4 or whatever just get divided up so no one has to be the Phil Kessel? Or was that just a proposed change I read somewhere?

Anyway, for Hotshot, Phil Kessel was the last player drafted however many years ago in the NHL All Star team draft. I think he won a truck for his troubles at least lol

Who knows though... because the Nets suck so hard and they’ll really need him to be somewhat of a focal point, maybe he’ll continue to offer some flashes along the way. Doesn’t change the fact that he never stood up to ring the bell while he was here.
