Because Boston isn't actually that good and Brad Stevens is an overrated coach.

We have a better roster and coach than they do.

Call me a hater, but the reason I don't view the Boston Celtics as a contender is Isaiah Thomas. No offence to him.

What has Stevens shown that makes him a better coach than Casey? His teams have showed absolutely nothing in the playoffs.

Casey coaches a much better offense with slightly worse defense despite not having access to elite perimeter defenders likeAvery Bradley, Marcus Smart and Jae Crowder. Really not sure what all the fuss about Stevens is.
