    • Memphis can still be a tough team to beat.. Both Conley and Gasol were out for a significant portion of the year last year, and they still finished with a 42-40 record and made the playoffs.

        • Vince Carter needs to be traded to a contender now... after the Conley news the Grizzlies are not going to be in contention this year. Don't think they even make the playoffs.

Masai should do the right thing and bring the GOAT back.

Man...Memphis gets a devastating injury again...this team is hard luck. They will likely fall out of the playoffs, if he's back sooner rather than later they could climb back in but that's gotta suck

Conley is out for six, maybe eight weeks....That's not an extraordinarily long stretch of time. The West is not as good as the national media portray...As of now Memphis is in the playoffs and the teams that would have to create separation from the Grizz over the next few weeks would be...The Lakers, Blazers, Nuggets, Kings and maybe the Pelicans.
              Not exactly murderers row.
Bad luck for Memphis for sure..more of a flesh wound than something terminal.

There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

                • Memphis is 11-7 but with a negative point differential and the 2nd easiest strength of schedule in the league to date. Conley is their best player and it's at least ~40% of their remaining schedule. But yeah, they were only going to be a 5-8 seed at best anyway.

I'm really not expecting any results to change or anything to replayed..at the very least I'm hoping the NBA admits SOME fault, that they made a mess of this, or at least that the raptors have a point, they're going to review and alter the rulebook, procedure..SOMETHING. if they just trot out the same line "clock malfunction..In Secaucus we timed it out..2.5.." I'll be very very dissapointed

5-8 is a hell of a lot better than 9-11..the infamous "no man's land" aka the raptors thru bosh bargnani and gay

                      • All my expectations are is of some clarity about whether why the video-review clock mattered more than the in-arena game clock here when it hasn't in similar, previous situations, and how they intend to fix it.

If the NBA is totally unapologetic, I hope the Raptors release their evidence to the public, although I expect that there are league rules preventing them from doing so.

                        • I would be thoroughly shocked if the league admits any wrongdoing. The call is going to stand, unfortunately.

                          • That's exactly where they may end up now with Conley being out.

                            • Wow, the Grizz are really going to struggle without Conley. Even lineups with Gasol but no Conley have roughly a -4 net rating on the year.

That's too bad, never want to wish a serious injury on anyone...

on the other hand, the timing couldn't been better....
