Demar is a very good player. About to be a 3 time all-star. Had 36 points 6 rebounds and 5 assists on 13/21 FG 10/10 FT tonight

Had 36 points 8 rebounds last night

So what are you saying? Demar is the least of our problems man. Stop trying to make this a Kyle vs. Demar thing. It makes no sense.
Hollowed stats you are trying to force our throats.

Lowry is one of the league leaders in win shares per 48 minutes. Derozan is nowhere to be found.

Take him out and replace him with a SG that can defend his position, passes the ball in a high rate, has range and a better IQ...this team would be in a better position.

I said this last summer, letting Biz walk in the offseason was a hige mistake. This team look exactly like the team the Wizards swept 2 years ago.
Problem was there wasn't really a feasible way to keep him. Would've needed to move Carroll or Ross to another team for pure cap space.

The risk is fine if you make a move to upgrade this season that actually gives us a fighting chance.

But just keeping this same team together then maxing out Lowry? Not good enough.
We live and die on how Derozan evolves as a player.

          Thats what Im thinking

You have to add a Millsap or Ibaka at PF to make it worthwhile... otherwise whats the point besides clogging your payroll with substandard players and then constantly getting high draft picks and not being able to try draft that superstar potentially in the top 5...Toronto will always be a solid team with Demar and Kyle but those guys are not at the level of the Lebron, Durant, Curry, etc...

Biz masks the guards defensive deficiencies.
Why is this such a bad thing.. It's about team composition. Strengths and weaknesses.....

This isn't in reply to you specifically. I hear the argument that the guards have to be better......But what if this is who they are? Why not have someone back there that actually makes people think twice about coming inside?

Oh god. Why is this nonsense narrative repeated after every loss?

But that is hard to find specialist like Biz. Bebe can be that guy but he is still not there and his rebounding is atrocious unlike Biz.

In the meantime, we are screwed.

                    Uh huh.

You do realize that among SGs who play more than 25mpg, DeRozan is 3rd in win shares per 48 (that's counting Butler and Harden as SGs btw) and 4th in AST% (behind Butler, Harden and Wade)?

You must be new here. This debate has been had for years man. Check out the Demar thread if that's your thing. You'll find some who agree with you.

I disagree with you. Won't even waste my time now because we already committed to Demar and if you had any clue what he means to the team, and Kyle.....you wouldn't waste your time re-hashing the same old arguments.

They should've moved JV in the offseason and re-signed Biz.

Biz is just a BETTER fit for this team also a SUPERIOR defender. We even saw him guard LeBron and JR Smith in the playoffs last year.

What about a guy like Nerlens Noel? He's young and has the potential.

                          • Why was Kyle so bad today? And from the basic stats Demarre looked like he played well. His defense obviously wasn't good since Harden went off but Harden is honestly unstoppable at this point in his career so I don't know how much to read into that. I expected a loss anyway. At least we didn't get blown out like I thought we would. What are the reasons we lost tonight other than Harden going off?
I relish negativity and disappointment. It is not healthy. Somebody buy me a pony.

The offense in the second half made the Rockets look like a great defensive team. That was expected to be honest, especially after going to OT last night. Ariza made a couple of 3s in the second half, Harrell scored whenever he touched the ball in the paint.
