Yeah, simple game plan of "we dont need to double Demar and as long as they run everything through him we'll win". It wasn't until they started double/triple teaming JV OFF the ball that we looked like we were going to take the series, and it was still way harder than it had to be.

Most of JV's success came from the glass. His man was consistently leaving him to give help on Lowry and Deebo. Which means a wing or guard is trying to box JV out. All the defensive focus was on the backcourt. Which allowed the role players to get off.

Also JV should be able to dominate that poor frontcourt Indianna had last year.
