GLF wrote: View PostI agree. Raptors can definitely play MUCH MUCH MUCH better, they've proven it over the regular season. But for some reason that never seems to translate to the playoffs for them. When things get tough or when they get a decently big lead they ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS revert back to hero ball by either Demar and Kyle and our role players are just very very inconsistent with their shot. It has been that way all year, so to expect that to change now is wishful thinking. I hope Milwaukee comes back down to earth but at the end of the day we keep leaving their shooters wide open and they have a good bit of 40% or so three point shooters on their team. If you leave guys like that wide open they're gonna knock them down. If they were hitting contested to semi contested 3's at a high rate I would be on your side a bit more but its mostly wide open 3's. Only our role players seem to consistently miss wide open 3's lol. If we improve our defence and really lock them down we can win but with the way we're playing offensively and with how dumb we play down the stretch of games and how much we've been turning it over I just don't see it. ISO ball, Bad shots and turnovers just fuels their fire. And with them being at home, good luck.

GLF wrote: View PostWe're losing this game. Last win was a fluke. We hit way more shots than we normally do and on the road role players usually don't hit shots as well as at home, we still played like idiots down the stretch, we still left their shooters WIDE open down the stretch and got lucky that they missed and we still rely on Demar and Kyle to hit TOUGH shots down the stretch of close games instead of actually running a fucking play. Just painful to watch. Hopefully we finally start turning it around but is baffles me how unposed we are for the veteran team. We play so scared and so out of control still. Milwaukee has really impressed me man. Jason Kidd has those guys really playing smart and you can tell they truly believe they can beat us. They're playing with a confidence and control I didn't expect.Only one thing matters: We The Champs.

Whereas we've struggled with both of those types of shots. Just a slight regression to the mean for both teams and we should be able to take care of em no problem.I relish negativity and disappointment. It is not healthy. Somebody buy me a pony.

GLF wrote: View PostI guess so. I just don't believe in hoping that a team stops hitting wide open threes as your way to win. How about you stop giving them wide open threes and pick up your defence? I think that's a much better solution. I also have zero faith in our role players starting to hit 3's consistently, expect for Ibaka, because they've proven all season that won't happen. But that's just me clearly. But I really hope you're right.Only one thing matters: We The Champs.

You judge Raptors by what they done in regular season but with Bucks you are judging them by playoffs?I relish negativity and disappointment. It is not healthy. Somebody buy me a pony.

The Bucks' shooting has been abnormally high so far.
During the regular season, the league average on open jumpshots (from 10 feet out) has been roughly 40%. Bucks were at 41% coming into the series which is pretty good. On open threes they shot 41.1% when wide open.
In the playoffs so far, they're shooting 65% on all open jumpshots (12% higher than the next closet team. Every team after that has ranged from 45% to 20%. For reference, Golden State is at 43.5%)
On threes, the Bucks are shooting a ridiculous 59.3%. Utah is second at 53.8% then every other team is ranging from 45.5% to 16.7%.

GLF wrote: View PostI swear Bucks were hitting open shots at a high clip during the regular season since Jabari got injured and Middleton came back? Well at least better than the Raptors.
This series: 13.5 wide open 3pt attempts per game on 59.3% shooting
