Parker's style of play clashes with Giannis. I'm not sure that a Bucks team with Parker would've been as successful since he's been often called a ball-stopper, which plays right into our hands. A Bucks team trying to go 1-on-1 with us each game would've probably lost in 4 games.
I will be surprised if the Bucks don't at least gauge the trade market for Jabari this summer.

His trade value is pretty limited. Upside + that kind of injury history makes it hard to find partners who will pay anything more than pennies on the dollar.

No point in shopping him till he's shown he's recovered.

        Never underestimate the Kings lol

It's not ideal but at the same time, if he's a poor fit next to Giannis then will they really be willing to waste a year (or two) for Jabari to return to his max value?

Again, they will explore is all I am saying. Maybe no deal materializes but it's definitely something they will be look at imo.

Raps were pretty lucky Bucks didn't have Jabari Parker. They badly needed that reliable second scorer.
They would have probably been the 5th seed if Parker never got injured.

Actually the Bucks got lucky that they didn't have Jabari.

Exactly. Bucks were a better team without Parker. The matchup (personnel + style of play + pace) also would have suited the Raptors better if the Bucks had Parker.

                • Celtics hit 19 treys in their Game 1 win over Washington. Wall struggled (20 pts on 20 FGA) while Horford puts up a line of 21/9/10 on just 13 FGA.

Wiz jumped out to a quick 16-0 lead and didn't surrender a rebound until under 6 minutes remaining in the opening quarter but ultimately couldn't withstand the Celtics balanced offence (Thomas lead with 33, Crowder had 24 to add to Horford's 21) and hot outside touch (49% from deep as a team).

Chris Paul has a player option (which most expect him to decline). However, there are some reports that Paul has agreed to a new deal that will be signed once the new CBA is enacted. Deal is reported to be north of $200M.
