He's going to shine as a sophomore, though minutes will be hard to come by at first. I tend to think Casey will play to our bigman strength while we still have it - keeping one of JP and JV on the court for 40-42 minutes of the game - but that only leaves about 12 minutes for the big Austrian. That's enough for now, but only just.
I think he's a winning, plus-player sooner rather than later.

Along with overall strength and toughness, I hope he can make strides on his shot-contests. Sometimes he's just getting a hand up there, where he should have the mobility and length to be a presence.
Probably hard to be aggressive when you're getting the worst rookie-calls ever.Last edited by SkywalkerAC; Mon Jul 10, 2017, 10:32 PM.

Like the thread. Like the purtle. Have high hopes for his 2nd year.
I know everybodys tried different player comps for him. I dunno if we've had this one, but a poor man's vlade divac is my hopes for his career.9 time first team all-RR, First Ballot Hall of Forum

Jakob kicked out to someone for a buzzer beater I think. He rolled down hard and it was a no look pass. Does anyone remember this?
