Yeah the only players I can put clearly ahead of him are Luka, Giannis, Tatum, Jokic, D. Mitchell, Durrant, Embiid, Ja, Shai and MAYBE Curry, Zion and Booker. Obviously the maybe's with exception of Zion have been playing at a high level for a longer time.

Overall thought Siakam does more on both sides of the ball and is more integral for winning on the Raps than some of those guys on their teams.

Never mind this debate....but is he on his way to being the GROAT? All star/allNBA/wouldn't have won the chip without him/second highest scoring game (through in a Raps 905 championship to boot)..maybe needs to do it for a few more years. Oddly, most of that applies to Freddy (change all NBA for highest scoring game)

Ya but ive also noticed he seems tight down the stretch in big games since. I remember you saying it was because he got dbl teamed more at that point but big stars still shine when it counts. There were many stretches in the philly series where the entire team seemed scared to shoot when it mattered

                      • Seems hes taken a big leap this year by facing the basket and going at them head on more. Much less back to the basket with that high dribble shit now. He was a turnover waiting to happen when he did that. Like the boston series at the end of the elimination game

he has some time to go before that he is getting there

                            Still makes bonehead decisions,
Forcing his way taking many contested shots.

I joke but realistically every single player in the world does... Barnes included
