  • Preseason Game 3: Toronto @ Portland, October 5th, 10:00 PM ET, TSN2

    Hey, there's a game tonight.

No idea who's actually going to play tonight.

But hopefully we see some more recognizable rotations in the first half at least. Only three games left, including this one.

I thought there were only 4 preseason games this year?

      5. This one, then one at home at the ACC, then one in CHI. Plus the two Hawaii games.

New plan for Casey: call a timeout for every in-bound pass, sub in Bruno and make him do it. If he passes to the wrong team even once, he's walking home.

Perhaps the biggest test of Bruno's career when POR wears the same colour scheme.

Will he rise to the occasion or will "nerves" get to him where he can't tell which guy is Valanciunas and which is Lillard?!

Expectations are too high!! Give him another 2 years before we make any judgements.

At least they should be adjusted to late games.

Portland brings a really different challenge with a guard centric offence as opposed to the Clips big front court of Gallo, Griffin and Jordan.

Likely to see more small ball lineups tonight...

                  Powell on Harkless or McCollum
Wright on one of McColum or Lillard to keep force feeding him important NBA minutes and matchups.

Portland looks light on bigs after Nurkic..... Leonard...the rookie Collins...old friend Ed Davis and a still finding himself Vonleh.
There's no such thing as a 2nd round bust.

Blazers are in a fairly similar position to us. Capped out with hopes resting on a few young players. Should be an interesting test, but we're probably the better team.

Lots and lots of teams with epic cap spending hangovers from the 2016 binge...

Portland is still jammed up pretty bad with that 18M$ Evan Turner deal which they have for 3 more years and this is after they gave away Alan Crabbe to the Nets to get down to 120 odd million.

Neil Olshey must really regret that Turner deal

Saw him in the Clips game number 2...Guys a machine. He’s game ready right now...No point taking any chances .... They need to give lots of run to the 2nd year guys and look at who is going to stick in the 14 th or 15th slots to wave towels and cheerlead

Lowry did not play the other night(rest), now it's DeMar's turn. All these "rests" would definitely pay dividend come playoff time.
