It's three games into the pre-season. Three games into the pre-season. Maybe give it 30 or so regular season games before the gnashing of teeth and rending of garments..... Given all the young players and a style change, it could take until Feb/March before this team gets comfortable.

No one here really believed that getting rid of three key players and relying on 5 young players while changing the offense was going to produce instant results overnight. Did you? If you did, well, that's your problem.

McKinnie looked pretty good. I think Masai has found his Jamario Moon (in a good way). Highly unlikely he gets cut.

Rautins, on the other hand, doesn't look like the shooting savant he'd need to be to make the roster. It might be Wiltjer that gets retained as a shooting specialist.

yeah he looked good. It sucks that he's 25 years old already. Same age as Delon. Doubt he'll improve much going forward.

I'd give to 2 spots open(should be 3) to McKinnie and Rautins.

Rautins kind of sucks. and I really only think we'll have 14 spots filled not 15 since we're so close to the tax. I hope it's McKinnie that gets it. He's the only one that's looked half way decent out of the camp invites.

This makes zero sense. He's younger than BeBe, JV and Delon. If there's even a minuscule chance he could be our Jonathon Simmons I'd need a better reason than "he's 25 years old" to cut him loose.

Just give him a #17 jersey and tell him to run to the corner and hope the opposing team mistakes him for J.J. Reddick.

With Miller and Brown on 2-ways, that'd be an awful lot of guard-wings: DeMar, Powell, Miles, Wright, McKinnie, Rautins, Miller, Brown + Bruno & OG + Rautins.

Yeah but DeRozan and Lowry didn't improve as players because they grew physically after the age of 25. They improved due working on their game which McKinnie can do as well. You don't stop developing your game at a certain age unless you chose to.
