Actually other than the Cavs I do think it's possible they could beat any team in the playoffs in the east. I wouldn't pick them to beat us or Boston, but they theoretically could do it if Embiid and Simmons weren't containable for 7 games.

They're not overhyped. Embiid and Simmons are legit superstar talents. Something we haven't had since Vince left. Their ceiling as a team because of that is basically the sky.

When Simmons was at LSU, I compared him to Lebron and people scoffed and came back with Lamar Odom. He really does look Lebron-esque at times, with the dribbling, court vision and end-to-end transition game at that size (even bigger than Lebron).

Yeah the similarities seem obvious.

Long-term he really will need to develop a passable shot. He can be an all-star without one, but he could be a superstar with one. I really like his game, but to not you'd kind of have to hate basketball.
