TRex gets to watch his favourite team twice in the next 3 days, so that's pretty exciting.

You've heard a lot lately about "you can only play the team that you're facing" as a rallying cry for not dismissing our strong play against weak teams. But even that gets dismissed. Last week we beat Charlotte but there was no Kemba. Last night, Kemba was there and it was an even bigger win. You can only play the team in front of you. Tell that to Houston (Lakers) or Boston (Miami). BTW, Miami is now 2-0 against Boston. That might be an entertaining 2-7 match up in the playoffs

Raps coming into Process Central on the back end of the back to back. Good news is that they didn't expend a ton of energy last evening in Charlotte ,the starting five played under 30 minutes save for Anunoby who clocked in at 31 minutes and its a one hour flight from Charlotte to Hinkieville.

The Hinkies are coming off pretty disheartening losses to the Bulls and Kings. Simmons had a WTF kind of look on his face as the Kings celebrated their comeback win and without the best part time superstar in the league the Sixers are a pretty ordinary team.

Their season is close to the edge. As odd as it sounds this home and home with the Raps is pivotal for the Sixers. Lose em both and they are going to be 4 games under 500 with their best player on the limp. The possibility of missing the playoffs is suddenly very real.

Looking for a very energized desperate team tonight. Raps need their A game.

How much time is Embiid expected to miss? Saturday's game as well?

Likely to skip both our games to rest for Christmas day game, yes. Philly is 1-7 when he rests.

Edit: he hasn't played since the triple OT vs. OKC. I dunno if you watched that game, he looked awful (physically). Like he had a steel rod in his back. He wasn't moving well.

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid, sidelined with a sore back, could miss two more games this week but is expected to return for the Christmas Day meeting with New York, league sources told ESPN. Despite the likelihood of resting his back for the remainder of the week, there’s optimism that Embiid will be fit to face the Knicks on Monday, league sources said.

Yeah, Sixers are likely going to be playing desperate. They get the Raps tonight and then a 5-game road swing over Christmas (always tough) followed by a really difficult January schedule that sees the Raps, Celts (x2), SA (x2) and Bucks (x2). They better hope Embiid isn't down for long...

The Process. Still one spot ahead of Brooklyn in the standings!

Also Redick missed the end of the Kings game with a hamstring issue.

With Embiid out, maybe it's time for Amir to turn back the clock....

....and foul out in 15 minutes.

Good thing Kyle just played 24 minutes last night. He's going to want to play 48 in Philly tonight.

Since Embiid was drafted (2014-2015 season), the Raptors are 16-1 against the 76ers. 14-0 without Embiid playing (1-1 with him playing).

We have to be in their heads. Let's keep this rolling.
