      • Nah, keep Lance far away from the Raptors. Not interested in a guy who threw his girlfriend down a flight of stairs.

Ah I wasn't aware of that. I knew he was a bit of a lunatic, but this team could use a little lunatic. Didn't realize he was a woman beater and that's obviously not just lunatic but scumbag person and now I agree with you

            Yeah, that. Done.

And on top of that. I heard from someone related to a team he’s played for that he’s an IMPOSSIBLE cancer in the room. All of the players, all of the coaches are just beside themselves trying to put up with him on a daily basis. He certainly has his moments of taking Lebron off his game.. other than that, this guy seems like a complete and utter disaster and at the end of the day, should be avoided.

            • Yes, the Raptors could flip Kawhi. They could trade him the day they traded for him if they wanted - the waiting period is only if they wanted to aggregate his salary with other contracts to bring back a bigger salary with a salary matching trade. Right up to the trade deadline.

And, yeah, no thanks to Lance.

I remember him cooking Raps for some weird ass reason
They probably tried to hide DeMar on him.

No thanks. He apparently needs someone like Larry Bird in his face every day to not be a horrible player. He has been bad everywhere except Indiana. Another team can gamble on him.

The 2018-19 Predictive PIPM spreadsheet was released.

                    Notable Raptors:

                    16. Lowry
                    40. Fred VanVleet
                    56. OG Anunoby
                    71. Jonas Valanciunas
                    73. Lucas Nogueira
                    103. Serge Ibaka
                    115. Pascal Siakam
                    117. Delon Wright
                    140. Jakob Poeltl
                    144. DeMar DeRozan
                    221. CJ Miles
PIPM ain't easy..... for DeMar anyway.

Ujiri has signed both James Johnson and Jared Sullinger after they had assault incidents with girlfriends/wives, so, obviously not an issue for the Raps if they want to bring him in.

ISO offense will be that new thing. Like plaid and Hawaiian shirts, Kobe-esque scorers will come back into style..... right after we trade DeMar.
My guess would be low post scorers will surge back in a few years. This class was really strong, give those guys a few years. The league has been sorely missing skilled centers. A lot of these can face up or hit open shots from anywhere. It would be a natural conclusion to try to force teams built on small ball to toss out their limited centers. It also slows down the pace and may impact rhythm.

Interestingly, DeMar DeRozan has the highest offensive rating of any of the Raptors listed other than Lowry. He just gives it all back and more on the defensive end.

Because Demar is in the MVP conversation every February, and in the LVP conversation by the time the draft rolls around. If you're considering trading him at all, then you do it during the regular season when his value is the highest. Ideally, it would be for an upgrade, not necessarily a tank move.

The off-season is the worst time for Masai to make trades.
That makes a lot more sense.
Most of us fans thought that Casey was sub par coach, yet he somehow guided this team to 3, 50+ wins & a dud in playoffs.
I ( just like most of you) is espetially pissed at our playoffs vs Cavs this year AGAIN.
Now if Casey was a poor playoff coach (seems to be the case at least IMO) it makes a lot of sense to at least try & give Nurse a chance. After all 9/10 rotation players are back (possibly all 10), Nurse knows this team as well as anybody. Nurse might be a tad more stubborn with his regular season play calling & stick with it (& less iso) come playoffs. Masai's vote of confidence seems to point in this direction.

Impression I get is that he is not a bit of a lunatic, but a major leauge 1.
