Meh.. it would still be an achievement if this team gets to the finals without Lebron around. Nobody talks about the Knicks getting to the finals without Jordan around. Or when Kidd got his teams to the finals two years in a row. Or when Iverson got there. Competition in the East (without Jordan around) was pretty bad too until Lebron came up.

Of course I want to win it all.. but getting to the finals is half the battle and that battle has become a lot easier to win.

Exactly, it's all theoretical. The games need to be played. We haven't lost to anyone other than Cleveland in the past 3 seasons, so I need to see them beat the Raps before declaring them (Celts/76ers) the inevitable winners. It was also theoretical that we were going to be the cavs last year and we ddid't.

Warren is 2 years younger (well more like 1 since his birthday is in September) so I get that part of it.. but from a talent point of view the trade does not move the dial in any way.

If you want something significant we do the Lowe proposal: Lowry for Chandler+Dudley+Jackson

Get two expiring contracts and a former lottery pick for Lowry.

Warren is already signed to a big deal. No thanks on trading Wright for him. Powell, sure, but no reason for them to do that.

Trading Wright for a prospect with more years left on their rookie scale is a good idea, depending on the prospect, obviously. But not for big salary. Raps would have to use their big TPE to pull the deal off and would be flying deeper into tax trouble.

Warriors will have one year or so before they are not the dominant favorites in my opinion. If rumors that Draymond want to get paid are true, they cant keep everyone around. Plus Houston was underrated in that series, they had a legit chane of getting to the finals. Could be an interesting year.

Suns might end up facilitating the Kawhi trade to Lakers trade by taking Lonzo and coughing up an additional prospect and a pick that the Spurs want. Lonzo would be a good fit there with the young core. Spurs want no part of Ball.

It was to stop being the Eastern Conference doormat, comically employing Bargnagni, Sporting a Purple Dinosaur, Renown frozen back water that teaches the metric system.

Then it shifted to being a place respectable enough 2nd and 3rd tier stars resign with comical over pays.

Now people assume it's turn the same jamokes they berate into top tier first class talent that can beat the warriors?

Just - Finals Appearance - is already through the glass, platinum, and the diamond ceiling of this franchise.
